What does my CTP Green Slip NOT cover?

 

CTP insurance does not cover damage to property or other vehicles. Further, unless you suffer a catastrophic injury like severe brain or spinal damage that is covered by the Lifetime Care and Support Scheme you will generally not be able to claim full compensation for injuries sustained if you are the driver at fault in an accident. Legislative provisions exist that allow the driver at fault to claim for lost earnings and medical expenses but this is capped at $5,000.
